The Culture of Food

Eating food from different cultures is one of the most enjoyable ways to experience those cultures. Within countries there are regions with different food preferences, different methods of cooking and presenting food, different spices and different availability of foods. In America we are exposed to foods from many different cultures but we are also exposed to different foods within our own culture. Below is a selection of regional recipes and places to eat that concentrates more on street food rather than gourmet cuisine.

Unfortunately she does not have a web site but here is a link to a Wikipedia article with a list of her books.
